We’re not your typical shop with set hours every single day. Our opening times can vary throughout the week — mainly because we’re busy actually making all the handmade lighting and furniture you see (and that takes time!).

Appointments are available at most times, so if you’d like to pop in and chat about a custom handmade order, just get in touch and we’ll make it happen. We love having the time to talk ideas through properly, without sparks flying in the background… or sometimes with sparks flying.

You might also find us closed now and then because we’re off attending handmade events all across the country — spreading the Metal Manipulation love far and wide.

So if we’re not in the showroom, or workshop chances are we’re covered in metal dust, chasing deadlines, or accidentally disappearing into a project that “will only take five minutes” (it never does).

Celebrating a Decade of Craftsmanship

Since 2015, Metal Manipulation has been transforming raw steel into handcrafted pieces that combine industrial character with timeless design. What began as a passion for metalwork has grown into a respected British workshop, creating distinctive industrial lighting, bespoke furniture, garden sculptures and handcrafted gifts for homes and businesses across the UK.

Every item that leaves our workshop is designed and made with care, using quality materials, traditional fabrication techniques and an uncompromising attention to detail. Whether it’s a statement light fitting, a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture or a striking garden sculpture, our aim has always been the same – to create products that are built to last and made to be admired.
