Whether you’ve always wanted to strike your first arc, you’re looking to develop existing skills, or you’re keen to create something unique with your own hands, our welding experiences offer a relaxed, friendly and genuinely hands-on introduction to welding. Based in our workshop on the beautiful Staunton Harold Estate, every experience is delivered on a one-to-one basis, allowing us to tailor the session to your ability and give you plenty of individual guidance.
You’ll learn how to safely use professional fabrication equipment, develop practical welding techniques, gain confidence working with steel and create a handcrafted project that you can proudly take home. All materials, equipment and safety gear are provided, and no previous experience is required for beginners — just a willingness to have a go.

INFORMATION FOR GIFT VOUCHER HOLDERS
If you’ve received one of our welding experience gift vouchers, or have previously purchased a course that is yet to be booked, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re currently arranging our remaining workshop dates and preparing for some exciting changes to our welding experiences in 2027. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can arrange a suitable date for your course.
To allow us to plan ahead and honour existing bookings, we kindly ask that you contact us and secure your place by 31st December 2026. As our welding experiences will be evolving in 2027, any existing vouchers or unbooked courses that have not been booked by this date will unfortunately no longer be valid.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
We have been genuinely overwhelmed by the incredible response to our welding experiences this year. The enthusiasm and support we’ve received has far exceeded our expectations, and we’d like to thank everyone who has booked a course, purchased a gift voucher or expressed an interest in learning with us.
After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close new bookings for the remainder of this year. As every course is delivered on a one-to-one basis in our working workshop, we believe it’s important that every guest receives the time, attention and personal tuition that makes the experience so special. Unfortunately, this means we can only offer a limited number of places each year.
The good news is that we’re already looking ahead to 2027. We’re excited to expand our welding experiences and create more opportunities for people to join us in the workshop. If you’ve missed out this year, we’d love you to register your interest and join our waiting list. We’ll be contacting those on our shortlist first when bookings for our 2027 courses open at the beginning of the year, giving you the best chance of securing a place.

Do I need any previous welding experience?
Not at all. Our welding experiences are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous experience. Every session is delivered on a one-to-one basis (or as a pair if booked together), allowing us to tailor the day to your individual ability and confidence.
What should I wear?
Please wear old clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty, along with sturdy leather shoes or boots if possible. We provide all the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including welding helmets, gloves and protective clothing where required.
What’s included?
Everything you need is included in the price of your welding experience. We’ll provide all materials, equipment, safety equipment and expert one-to-one tuition. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm to learn!
What age do I need to be?
The minimum age can vary depending on the type of welding experience and the individual participant. Please get in touch before booking, and we’ll be happy to discuss the most suitable option.
Can I buy a welding experience gift voucher?
Absolutely. Our welding experience gift vouchers make a unique and memorable present for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or any special occasion. Vouchers can be purchased throughout the year and used to book one of our welding experiences, including experiences taking place in 2027.
Can two people book together?
Absolutely. If you’d like to enjoy the experience with a friend, partner or family member, we can arrange for two people to attend together. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss the available options.
Will I take home what I make?
Yes. One of the best parts of the experience is leaving with something you’ve created yourself. You’ll take home your finished handcrafted project as a lasting reminder of your day in the workshop and the new skills you’ve learned.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is available at our workshop on the beautiful Staunton Harold Estate, just a short walk from the workshop.
