Art in a pen-Skipton

Last weekend we were exhibiting at a new venue called “Art in a pen” North Yorkshire. This is a well established arts and crafts fair that runs each year inside skipton auction mart. It is now considered to be the north’s leading art event.

There were 200 artists in total, that had each turned their individual cattle pen into galleries for the weekend.

We found the experience very relaxed and organised and of course lovely meeting lots of new people that were interested in our products.

Definitely not what you would imagine when you think of a art and crafts event

in a cattle shed! One definitely worth a visit next year and the location is fantastic with superb countryside views, we stayed in a cosy country pub just outside skipton, a place called Elslack, serving good food and traditional ales… what more could we ask for?

All and all a great weekend for Metal Manipulation. We are now busy getting ready for our next event at Holker Hall in the Lake District on the 3rd & 4th of September, hopefully see you there!
